A basic requirement of the Skills Levies Act, Skills Development Act, South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) Act employers are required to submit a workplace skills plan per occupational group in the workplace. This necessitates an analysis of the available skills in the workplace, evaluation of training needs, determining of training gaps and drafting/developing of career development plans.

Our trial and tested skills audit process has facilitated the identification of training needs, developing of succession plans, updating of competence profiles (job descriptions) and alignment of performance management systems.
